Happy 1st Birthday Natalie Mae!!

The last time I saw Miss Natalie was when she was only 5 days old. She was such a sweet, perfect little baby. She slept her entire session and posed like a champ!

Natalie is obviously much more mobile now, showing off her crawling and standing skills through out the session. 

She absolutely loved the rocking chair, which happened to be just her size. 

& check out those two sweet little teeth, I could just eat her up!

Natalie loved cuddling up with dad for photos but made us work a little harder to get some great image with mama. I may be a little bias but I think we ended up rocking it out!

Right when Natalie seemed to run out of smiles we recruited grandma to come over and help pull a few more out of her for family photos. 

It wouldn't be a first birthday session without a few balloons & a few tears!

Last, but certainly not least, we brought out Natalie's puppies for a few pictures. I am super impressed that we have all 5 looking at the camera, it may just be a miracle. To end the session dad suggested a photo of just him and mom, love this!

Meet Miss Elle Rose @ 5 Days New

I first started talking to Elle's dad about a newborn session before the holidays when he was wanting to gift a session to his wife for Christmas. (Best idea ever dads!) Both mom and dad came in to tour the studio and discuss their vision for Elle's newborn session. 

Elle was a dream to photograph, she slept nearly the entire session. 

Mom picked up a few pretty headbands that we used while Elle napped away. 

Elle loved to be wrapped up and really enjoyed the heartbeat sound machine.

This new romper fit little Elle perfect, she looks like a little doll!

Mom & Dad were champs during the 4 hour session. They were very laid back and great to work with. Plus, are they not THE cutest little family??!!

Elle's color is definitely pink, rock it little diva.

There is just something so precious as a Dad with his little girl. Elle lost a little weight after leaving the hospital and looks so tiny in her Dad's arms. 

Mom is absolutely beautiful and can rock a smize like no one I've seen before! Elle is so loved.

Thanks so much for bringing Miss Elle in and I hope I get to watch her grow over the next year. Congrats Mom & Dad!!

Happy 1st Birthday Evelyn Kay!

If you've followed me for any length of time you have seem Miss Evelyn's sweet face grace the web. She very well may have been my most difficult newborn to date buttttt she has totally made up for it at every session since. 

I mean how can you hold a grudge against this adorably sweet face?!

Evelyn's big sister, Ava, has faithfully tagged along to all of her sessions. Ava sings, claps and even dances to get Evie to smile. She is such a great big sister and they will have so many awesome adventures together in the future. 

Even though flowers aren't quite in bloom outdoors, we had a blast exploring the beauty inside Daniel Stowe's orchid garden.

In between outfit changes, Ava and Evelyn got their snuggle on. 

I absolutely love when people incorporate things that are important to them into their photo sessions. Dad is Korean and his mom sent these beautiful authentic Korean dresses for the girls. Ava lit up when she put it on and rocked it out!

Miss Evelyn looked absolutely adorable, and slightly more Korean, in her dress!

Their dresses compliment each other and they will hold onto these shots for years to come.

Next came the fun part of all 1st birthdays...the CAKE SMASH!!!

Evelyn did not let us down, she chowed down on this awesome cake. 

I can't believe how much you've grown, yet stayed the same Evelyn Kay. I can't wait to watch you turn into a rambunctious toddler. See you soon Evelyn!
