Generational Portraits.
Photos are one of those items that are passed down through generations so why not create one that future family members can treasure.
Most of us aren’t fortunate to have our grandparents living in the same city as us so it is extra special when they visit. Grandparents visiting is the PERFECT reason to get updated family portraits.
Not only will I photograph the entire larger family but also all of the breakdowns. Expect to see portraits of the grandparents together and alone with the grandchildren. Also, some of my favorites from these sessions are generational images. For example, grandma, mom and daughter all photographed together. That will for sure be cherished for years to come!
My favorite way to display the extended family session is in an album. Bonus, it makes for the perfect gift for Mother’s Day/Father’s Day or Christmas!
Make sure to book these sessions with plenty of notice because I see an influx of them in the Fall, particularly around Thanksgiving, and weekends fill up fast!
