Alicia's Maternity Session | Peach Blossom Trees

One of my favorite things about living in Charlotte is that we have 4 seasons, even if Winter is feeling extra long this year. I mean, we had snow today! Mother Nature, get it together!! In the meantime, I'm just going to swoon over this maternity session at the Peach Blossoms.

The Peach Blossoms are only in bloom for a few short weeks each year. I absolutely love to photograph any session there but especially maternity. Alicia braved the fierce winds on this cold March morning and I cannot get enough of these portraits!

This sweet mama is due with boy number 2 in just a few more short weeks. Alicia says this baby will be their last so she wants to get as many portraits of this time as possible. In fact, keep an eye out because she just may be bringing her hubby and sweet son Myles along for round two soon.

Alicia, you couldn't get any more beautiful and I hope you enjoy every last second as a family of 3. I just know this new little one will mix things up a little bit. So hug Myles a little longer and just a little harder each and every last night that he is an only child.

Thanks for trusting me to capture these memories for you. I can't wait to meet your little one!

Maxwell's Newborn Session

Maxwell was a little over two weeks old already by the time he came into our Cornelius studio for his newborn portraits. Luckily, he slept like a champ.

His mom brought this crocheted outfit that she was given as a gift. It fit Maxwell perfect and I loved the pop of color!

From the looks of it, I think Maxwell will love to fish!

Jen's Maternity Session

I met Jen and Zak shortly before their maternity session on Lake Norman. Jen did not have an easy pregnancy as she was dealing with health issue with her mom. She deserved to feel special and enjoy the pregnancy before it was over. I was so happy to be such a major part of that experience for both Jen and Zak.

It was the perfect sunset and weather for the maternity session. I coaxed Jen into using our Agape pink and Agape white maternity gowns. She looked stunning!
